Great cuisine that improves with each of my visits. Mr. Schanz doesn't rest on his accolades but continues to try to improve. This is how it has to be for long-term success. Excellent selection of wines and good service. There is still room for improvement when it comes to desserts.
Dinner was OK, not worth 3 stars, 2 at best. Service was terrible, with no leadership in the dining room, relatively ignored except to bring the dishes which were not properly introduced nor explained. I won't come again, not worth the drive.

On the Moselle, the three-star chef Thomas Schanz provides a special kind of culinary experience. The rooms are modern, bright, spacious and stylish. The gourmet temple is open from Wednesday to Saturday. Twelve rooms are available in the in-house hotel for gourmets. That's what I call customer focus. We are greeted warmly and warmly by the mother of the star chef and accompanied to our table. The menu offers a menu with a mix of regional and exclusive delicacies.
As a guest you can expect something from a three-star restaurant and you won't be disappointed here. Everything fine!
The six-course menu with amuse guelle and amuse bouche will delight you. The service is friendly, attentive and competent. We are excited.

We visited Schanz for lunch with a culinary club of 7 people. We encountered perfection, with a very dedicated crew, amazing dishes and great wine pairing. Thomas Schanz is an exceptional chef and worth the detour. Simply spectacular!
